2024 Build
A custom digger chopper built from a 2004 Harley-Davidson Dyna combines classic chopper aesthetics with (kinda) modern performance. The build started with the Dyna's robust frame and reliable Twin Cam 88 engine, providing a solid foundation for customization.
The bike features a shaved and lowered front end, giving it the distinctive "digger" profile—a long, low-slung stance emphasizing sleek lines and skinny forks. The Honda gas tank was found in a stockpile of parts at another local shop, while the seat was reshaped into a minimalist, contoured form to accentuate the bike’s flowing silhouette.
This build was based on Rob's genius design with everyone's input along the way. Along with all of the aesthetic modifications, we stripped off all of the fuel injection and EPA BS! Everyone at the shop spent countless hours on this beautiful build to get it done just in time for Born Free Chopper Show 2024. We are very proud of this wuild and cannot wait to do another!
This build bridges the gap between vintage chopper culture and contemporary craftsmanship, offering a head-turning, high-performance ride.
